This is an early 1900's French Black Cast Iron mercantile scale. The base is cast iron while the rest of the pieces are other metals. It is missing the two pans that hold weights and objects to be weighed. It was displayed on a kitchen wall along with hundreds of cast iron kitchen appliances.

Presented in its current condition as is. Everything moves up & down as it should.

On the left side on the top of scale is the word FORGE and below that 1 KILOG. On the right side on the top of scale is the letter H.
